Neutralising odours Put a bowl of ground coffee in your fridge, or freezer to help remove unpleasant odours. Coffee grounds contain nitrogen, which helps eliminate nasty smells. Removes dirt and grime Place some coffee grounds on cleaning cloth and use to scrub away dirt and grease. Don't use on ceramics or any product that stains easily. Use on your BBQ Why not spice your meat with some coffee ground. Not only does it act like a spice, and enhance flavour, it also helps tenderise the meat. Exfoliates skin Caffeine in coffee can assist in removing puffiness, blemishes, and can help in smoothing skin.

Great for hair We have all seen those caffeine shampoo ads, and they make a good point. Massaging coffee grounds into your hair can help stimulate hair growth. Great for dogs too Rub some coffee grounds into your pooches fur after you have washed them. This can help kill fleas, and keep their fur soft. Rinse fur after. Make sure you keep dogs away from eating coffee grounds, as can be dangerous to them. Garden insect repellent Spread some coffee grounds on soil in garden which will help keep those pesky insects from damaging your plants. Fertilise your garden As well as scaring away insects, spreading coffee grounds across soil can also help fertilise garden. Just mix with dead grass, or brown leaves, and spread away.
