BADRA ESTATE Masteroast have worked with the Badra Estate for over 15 years and have become firm family partners, recently visting during an origin trip to India earlier this year. In celebration of this we offered an exceptional Robusta in last quarters seasonals, and to continue this celebration we now present an exclusive, top of the line Arabica from the same estate! The Estates were built by the Mammen family in 1936 and have been run by the family ever since. The farms are located in Chickmagalur on the Bababudan Giri hills, the birthplace of Indian coffee, where the first coffee plants reached India in 1670. Over the years, Indian robusta cofee has earned recognition for its unique flavour profile. The coffee is characterized by its strong, full-bodied taste with a distinctive earthy and spiced undertone. Today, India is one of the leading producers of robusta coffee globally, and its robusta beans are widely used in various coffee blends. The Indian coffee industry continues to evolve, with a focus on sustainable and quality-driven practices, ensuring the continued success and reputation of Indian robusta coffee in the global market. This coffee presents a captivating fusion of flavours, offering a full-bodied and aromatic experience. Savor the delicate notes of white flower and the sweetness reminiscent of molasses in this coffee. Enjoy the subtle hint of black grape, alongside its rich body that offers a satisfying texture. The finish leaves a lingering taste of dark chocolate, making each sip a delightful indulgence.
